At first video project was called Sport Fashion and then – at finish point – the name was changed to Life. Action. Fashion. The client – MEGA Rostov shopping center – was inspired by our company’s idea: to bring sport out of context or to fit sport into fashion and to see how sports break away from the shopping center to life. The result of this endeavor – 50-second video that was broadcasted for a month in a chain of restaurants RIS.

Some words about the process.
During the casting for the video crew members have looked for both pro sportsmen and fashion models. It had to be a real mix of fencer-girls in spectacular dresses, boxing and running in a vivid look & make up. As an inseparable part of the idea was bringing street culture into the video: break dancers, skaters, BMX guys. The fun part of the idea was to invite hipsters to play chess and to revive mannequins in shop windows.

The toughest job for the crew – obviously – shooting on streets. We’ve faced a real problem finding a good looking basketball ring in the city. At final the basketball player was so kind to invite us to a professional basketball school where we had about 20 minutes to shoot a nice slam dunk.
